After High School he enrolled in the Academy of Fine and Applied Arts 

 (A.G.S. Basel) from which he graduated in 1968 with honours.

Upon various stays with design firms in Zurich, Paris, London and New York he started his own company in Toronto, Canada specializing in Branding, Packaging, New Product Development and Environmental Design.

in 2009 he turned his passion of painting into a full-time occupation.
